“As far as the East is from the West –
Never the twain shall meet”. (Psalm 103:12)
But let us not resign to this as an endless feat.
It is but our measure for the state of man,
When considering God’s eternal plan.
A foolish and groping soul in the dark,
Or indeed will it be a humble heart?
Will you choose to be a believer?
“It is appointed unto man –
A time to live and a time to die”; (Hebrews 9:27)
And in between, he makes choices for the by and by.
Choose well my beloved,
For there’s no turning back,
When at last we’re on that eternal path.
Let not pride or selfishness stand in the way,
Forever will be the regret on that final day;
Judgment we cannot avoid.
Will you take up residence with the Lord?
