The reader will soon realize that I have a thing about writing about “TIME”. (I almost have sixteen clocks in our home. It is like I am on a tight schedule with people to see and places to go.)
****
What would it look like if you could suspend time? What moment would you like to catch and savor and relish for a prolonged season?
Would, if you could, choose an unending pleasure of sorts? Would it be a momentary instance of ecstasy where your heart, on a rare occasion. jumped for joy? Perhaps in the distant past, there was a fleeting feeling of sheer peace and well-being. How inviting it would be to linger longer in this total calm, indescribable serenity.
When I survey the many wonders of such possibilities that arise in my soul, I can scarce contain my imagination. Virtually, it is hard to fathom that there is a state of being that could offer this as a reality. Is it only in the recesses of one’s spirit that this can be imagined? Pause.
Dare to release ones’ self now from any reluctance and hesitancy to reach into that higher realm. It appears that if one would but search and make it their quest, they could obtain this desirable state of bliss and well-being more than momentarily.
So, without further delay, let me challenge those who are adventurous to consider what moment in time they would choose to suspend . . . maybe for eternity.
Come along with me to where time shall be no more. Where there is no sadness – no pain; no sickness; no death. In this place is joy and peace forevermore. Such love inhabits the surroundings; it is inexpressible.
There is indeed a place, I have heard, where all are welcomed. There are no walls, no borders, no restrictions; only everlasting, joy – peace – love – goodness and well-being for every soul that chooses to abide there.
So, how can I suspend this delightfully inviting moment in time? I am glad you asked. Freely decide this day to change your course by accepting that person named Jesus – God’s Son. You know who He is; the one who has been knocking at your heart’s door. You will seal your fate and one day ‘to Heaven go’. Hurry now before it is too late!
